Ania is not looking for commercial recognition. At present she is the only Polish singer performing real big-beat. From 2005 to 2007 she was a co-creator of Dezire band (nominated to Fryderyki award in the category of hip-hop/r&b for the album „Pięć Smaków” (“Five flavours”). In 2011 she appeared at the festival in Opole with a recital devoted to the memory of her mother who had passed away 20 years before that - Ada Rusowicz, and instantly won the public in Opole. Her first solo album "My Big-Beat”, which she had worked on for several months, contains 12 songs. Six of them come from the repertoire of Ada Rusowicz performed with Niebiesko-Czarni band at the breakthrough of 60’s and 70’s. During Fryderyk 2012 gala, Ania was awarded with four statuettes in the following categories: Vocalist of the Year, Pop Album of the Year, Music Production of the Year (with Kuba Galiński) and Debut of the Year!
